We support local churches to provide quality Christian RI programs by networking, training, equipping and supporting Christian RI Assistants, Instructors and Coordinators.
Training, Events and Personal Development
Training is a vital part of ensuring Christian RI is a quality program that is relevant and engaging in today’s changing environment.

We encourage all Christian RI Facilitators to attend the state-wide Foundations Training developed by the Christian RI Alliance Qld in consultation with the CRI Network, QCRI Network and other experienced instructors and Coordinators from around the state. This training ensures best practice RI and consistency state-wide.
We conduct training throughout the year. If you can’t find a training session to suit your location or available time, please email us with your training needs.
All our training is offered at no cost due to the generous donations of churches, businesses and others who see the value in the non-denominational ministry.
At each training event participants will be offered:
– opportunity to hear about updates on current Department of Education policies and expectations
– opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and glean from others experienced in the schools
– opportunities to pray for their teams, schools and new schools
– option to borrow and/or purchase resources which may enhance their lessons
Child minding is usually available if prearranged.
Commissioning Services
At the beginning of each year, we encourage the volunteer Instructors and Assistants into the field with a blessing from the Church body and friends and family who give great support to them throughout the year. The task of an Instructor and Assistant is a ministry which is not taken lightly by those at CRI Network and we continue to offer support to those who are challenged to make a difference in young people’s lives throughout this great state of Queensland.
We usually hold these non-denominational services at different churches, sometimes following our Back to school training in February. All church leaders and supporters of Christian RI are welcome to join us as we pray for the team from many churches.
Annual Thank Appreciation for our Volunteers
The CRI Network is forever grateful for our volunteer Instructors, Assistants and the many others who make CRI what it is. To acknowledge their indispensable input, we hold a Thank You lunch annually to gather all these people in one place to thank and encourage them in what they do.
This annual event is held in December each year – stay tuned for more info about this special lunch!
